Sodium Laureth Sulphate , SLES 70

Description

Sodium Laureth Sulphate is a primary surfactant  and is extensively used in shampoos and bodywash preparations and many other detergent solutions. Palm-derived, high foaming, anionic surfactant extensively used in the formulating and manufacturing industries both cosmetic and industrial. It is a higher foaming variation of Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) and its an ethoxylated version with 2 or 3 moles of EO.

this surfactant offers excellent emulsification, dispersion, wetting, solubilizing performance together with a good foaming property in addition shows solvency, and offers thickening effect with sodium chloride (salt), wide mixing compatibility, is not affected by hard water and has a  high biodegradability; good skin compatibility and low irritation to both skin and eyes.

The product is also known as Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulphate,  Sodium Laureth Sulphate, SLES70, Texapon, Empigen etc  this is not the same as the the powder sodium lauryl sulfoacetate which is
