Description

Jojoba beads 60/100 are tiny, coloured jojoba wax spheres used as exfoliating beads. These hydrogenated jojoba oil beads can be used in soap, body and facial washes, shower gels, scrubs and lotion bars. They provide gentle exfoliation which feels great on the skin and their attractive colours will make your products stand out from the rest. These jojoba beads won’t scratch delicate skin and they are suitable for those with nut allergies. Jojoba beads are completely biodegradable and from a renewable source. The beads themselves are natural.

When used in our Glycerin Melt and Pour and other liquid bases the spheres tend to either float or sink depending on the thickness of your base so we recommend a small trial batch to ascertain how they suit your base.  They can be successfully incorporated without any problem into our foaming bath butter

Recommended usage rates:

May be used in formulation from 1% to 15% depending on desired visual effect and aggressiveness of exfoliation.

Start with ½ – 1½ tablespoons per 1kg of Foaming bath butter  or Glycerin M&P soap base.

Technical Data

Bead Size:          60/100 fine. This size provides a safe exfoliation on the face.
INCI:                  Jojoba Esters
Melting point: 65-70°C. To ensure the beads don’t melt they should only be added to formulation at the end when the temperature is below 40 °C.
Best used by:    2 years when stored in cool, dry place and protected from direct sun

Shelf life once used in a Product: Two years from manufacturing date depending upon preservation levels.
