Ginger Root Extract ws, one of the best known botanicals since ancient times, it provides excellent anti-aging properties due to its ability to almost totally inhibit collagen degradation by collagenase enzyme inhibition. It allows the maintenance of protein levels in the dermis and skin flexibility.  it is valued for its warming, stimulating, and energising properties, as well as its strong antioxidant activity. Ginger extract helps improve the appearance of dull or fatigued skin, supports microcirculation, and contributes to a revitalised complexion. It also acts as an anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory. Ginger Root Extract is used in formulations for skin and hair products, including re-firming, massage and anti-dandruff preparations.

Mode of action: gingerols help stimulate superficial microcirculation, contributing to a warming sensation and improved skin vitality. The extract’s antioxidant profile helps protect against environmental stressors, while its mild anti‑inflammatory activity supports comfort in stressed skin. Ginger glycerol extract is particularly effective in invigorating body care, scalp treatments, and energising skincare.

GUIDELINES

Water‑soluble; incorporate into the water phase below 45 °C. Works well with arnica, rosemary, ivy, and caffeine in stimulating formulations. Avoid use in highly sensitive‑skin products due to warming effects.

Use level: 0.5–5%.

Solubility: Water‑soluble.
