Description

A luxurious Premium Light Emulsion / Lotion Base for lotion making.

This Lotion base is formulated with natural and naturally derived ingredients. This Lotion Base is designed with a broad spectrum preservative (non paraben) system to ensures a shelf-stable product that can tolerate a variations in pH when customising. We recommend however to consider pH when customising and ensure testing is verified.   Typical shelf-life up to 2 years**

This luxurious lotion base has been made with Coconut, Sunflower and Wheatgerm oil as well as Shea Butter and has a soft non-tacky after feel on the skin after application

To ensure a safe lotion base modification, one should work in a clean environment. It won’t need to be a sterile environment but it should clean and hygienic;  both your work surface and utensils need to be of highest cleanliness to ensure no microbiological contamination occurs.

Our Lotion Base (Premium)  has been formulated and manufactured with care and is designed to be used as is, or can be customised with your choice of ingredients. Please refer to our suggested addition level for add-ins and note that whilst all care has been taken in presenting these recommendations we  can not accept responsibility concerning any product modified using our suggestions.

We recommend when modifying for resale, that adequate stability testing and performance for marketing claim is undertaken prior to sale. All responsibility lies with the manufacturer / seller of the final product.

we recommend a maximum of 5% w/w additives loading with the following  suggested levels

Essential oils: Up to 3%

Emollients: Up to 5%

Carrier or infused oils: Up to 5%

Extracts: Up to 2%
